Winter Garden summers don't negotiate. When the air handler quits in August, or the system you inherited with the house finally gives up, you want somebody who shows up, tells you plainly what's wrong, and puts the cost in writing before the work starts. That's what Certified Air Masters LLC does. We're a family-run company — Frank and Ruth are the owners, and they're the ones answering the phone and standing behind the work.
Our specialty is residential and light commercial cooling and heating: diagnosing a system that isn't performing, repairing it where repair makes sense, and replacing it when it doesn't. Winter Garden has a wide mix of housing stock — older homes near Plant Street with systems that have been patched more than once, and newer builds out toward Horizon West where the original equipment is coming to the end of its warranty at the same time. Both need a different conversation.
- HVAC repair — no cooling, weak airflow, short cycling, frozen coils, noisy or tripping units
- System replacement and new installation, including correct sizing for the home rather than a like-for-like swap
- Seasonal maintenance and tune-ups to keep an aging system running through the hot months
- Thermostat and control problems, including systems that run constantly or never reach setpoint
- Diagnosis on systems another company has already looked at, when you want a second opinion
If we think a repair will buy you years, we'll say so. If we think you're about to spend money on a unit that won't make it through another season, we'll say that too, and show you what replacement actually costs so you can make the call with real numbers in front of you.
A written estimate before anyone touches your system
Every job starts the same way: we look at the equipment, explain what we found, and give you a written estimate before any work begins. You approve it, then we work. No surprises added on at the end, no figure that drifted between the driveway conversation and the invoice. It's a simple policy and it's the reason most of our Winter Garden work comes from people who've already had us out once.
We put the price in writing first. You decide, then we get to work — that's the whole process.
Hours, pricing and service area
We're open Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, and Saturday 8:00am to 1:00pm. We're closed Sunday. Pricing is quoted per job in the written estimate — we don't publish flat figures for repairs, because the honest answer depends on what the system is doing and what parts it takes.
