Certified Air Masters LLC is a family-run heating and cooling company owned by Frank and Ruth. We work on the connected side of comfort: thermostats you can set from your phone, zoning so the back bedrooms stop baking, and sensors that tell your system what the house is actually doing instead of guessing from one hallway wall.
Smart thermostats, zoning and app-controlled comfort
Most people come to us for one of three reasons. They bought a smart thermostat, wired it in, and the system started short-cycling or the heat strips stopped responding. They have a two-story house where upstairs and downstairs will never agree. Or they're already planning an hvac installation and want the controls done properly the first time rather than bolted on a year later.
The work itself usually covers:
- Smart and Wi-Fi thermostat installation, including systems that need a common wire run or an adapter
- Diagnosing a smart thermostat that was installed but never configured for the equipment behind it
- Remote room sensors so the thermostat averages real living space instead of one spot
- Zoning with dampers and separate controls for upstairs, bedrooms, additions or bonus rooms
- Scheduling and humidity settings tuned for Florida summers, not factory defaults
- Repairs on existing equipment that a smart control has exposed as weak or mismatched
We'll also tell you when a smart control is the wrong answer. If a system is undersized, leaking at the duct connections, or near the end of its life, an app won't fix any of that, and we'd rather say so before you spend money.
A written estimate before any smart HVAC work starts
You get a written estimate before work begins. That means you see the scope and the price in writing, you decide, and then we start — not the other way around. If we open things up and find something we didn't expect, you hear about it and approve it before we keep going.
When it's done, we don't just hand you a thermostat and leave. We walk through the schedule we set, show you where the settings live in the app, and make sure whoever runs the house day to day can change it without calling us. The outcome we're aiming for is simple: you can adjust your comfort from your phone and the equipment behind it is happy about it.
Hours, pricing and service area
We're open Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, and Saturday, 8:00am to 1:00pm. We're closed Sunday. Pricing for smart HVAC work depends on what the house already has — wiring, equipment type and whether zoning is involved — so we quote it in writing after we've looked, rather than posting a number that won't match your home.
