Twice-a-year tune-ups for Clermont-area cooling and heating
Certified Air Masters LLC is a family-run company owned by Frank and Ruthand a maintenance plan with us is about as straightforward as it sounds. We come out on a set schedule, service the equipment you already own, and tell you in plain language what we found. Nothing gets replaced because a visit happened to be on the calendar.
Around here the cooling season does most of the damage. Systems in Clermont, Winter Garden and Groveland run hard from March into October, and the parts that fail are usually the ones that have been quietly struggling for months — a slow drain line, a weak capacitor, a coil packed with dust. The point of scheduled hvac maintenance is to catch those while they are still a small item on a list instead of a no-cool call on the hottest Saturday of the year.
A standard visit covers the things that actually move the needle on a Florida system:
- Indoor and outdoor coil condition, cleaned as needed
- Condensate drain line and pan cleared and checked for proper flow
- Air filter condition and correct size
- Refrigerant pressures and temperature split
- Blower motor operation and airflow
- Thermostat operation and settings
- Heat strips checked before the cold snaps arrive
A written estimate before any repair starts
If a tune-up turns up something that needs repair, we stop and put it in writing. You get a written estimate before any work beginsyou read it at your own pace, and you decide whether to go ahead. That is the same for plan customers as it is for anyone else who calls us — we would rather you understand the number than feel rushed into it.
It also means there are no surprises attached to the visit itself. A maintenance appointment is a maintenance appointment. Anything beyond that is a separate, quoted decision that belongs to you.
Hours, pricing and service area
Plan pricing depends on how many systems you have and where your home sits in our service area, so we quote it in writing rather than posting a number that would be wrong for half the people reading it. Ask and we will tell you exactly what your plan would cost before you commit to anything.
Our hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday 8:00am to 1:00pm, and closed Sunday.
