Ferndale is a small place, and small places get used to being an afterthought for trades driving out from the bigger cities. We're not driving out from anywhere far. Certified Air Masters LLC is a family-run HVAC company covering Ferndale and the towns around it, and it's run by Frank and Ruth — the same two people you'll be talking to when you call about your system.
HVAC repair and installation for Ferndale homes
Two things bring most people to us. The first is a system that has stopped doing its job — it runs and runs without cooling, it trips off, it makes a noise it didn't make last summer, or it won't start at all. The second is a system that has simply reached the end of its life and needs replacing properly rather than patching one more time.
We handle both. On a repair, the goal is to find the actual fault rather than swap parts until something changes. On an hvac installationthe goal is a system that suits the house it's going into, installed so it isn't fighting bad ductwork or a poor match from day one. If a repair is the sensible call, we'll tell you that instead of selling you equipment you don't need yet.
A written estimate before any work starts
Nothing gets done on your system until you've seen the price in writing and said yes to it. That's the part we'd most like you to remember about us, because it removes the thing homeowners dread most — the conversation at the end where the number has quietly changed.
What that means in practice:
- We look at the system and tell you what we actually found
- You get the proposed work and the price in writing
- You decide, in your own time, before any work begins
- If something unexpected turns up mid-job, we stop and talk to you first
It's a small thing to put in place and it makes the whole job easier for everyone, including us.
Hours, pricing and service area
Ferndale sits right in the middle of where we work. We're regularly in Montverde, Oakland, Astatula, Howey In The Hills, Clermont, Winter Garden, Groveland and Mascotte, and we cover a good deal more of Lake, Orange, Osceola and Polk counties besides — from Windermere, Ocoee and Gotha across to Apopka, Mount Dora, Eustis, Leesburg, Tavares, Kissimmee, Davenport and The Villages. If you're not sure whether your address is inside that, just ask.
Our hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, and Saturday, 8:00am to 1:00pm. We're closed Sunday. On pricing, there's no published price list for repairs, and we'd be making numbers up if there were — what the job costs depends on what's wrong with the equipment. You'll have it in writing before we start, which is the part that matters.
Where to read our reviews
We'd rather you heard about the work from the people we did it for than from us. Our reviews are public and you can read them on Yelp, Angi, Facebook, Instagram and Nextdoor. Go through them before you book — that's what they're there for.
When you're ready, reach us at (689) 224-0820 or email certifiedairmastersllc@gmail.com with your address in Ferndale and a line about what the system is doing. We'll get you a time and come take a proper look.
