Certified Air Masters LLC is a family-run HVAC company owned by Frank and Ruthworking out of Clermont and across Central Florida. Indoor air quality is one of those things homeowners usually bring up sideways — the house smells musty in August, one bedroom is always clammy, somebody's allergies get worse indoors than out. Those are all symptoms of how your air gets filtered, dried and moved, and they're all things we can look at.
Filtration, humidity and duct cleanliness: what we actually look at
In Florida, air quality and humidity are the same conversation. A system that's oversized or short-cycling cools the air without pulling enough moisture out of it, and then you've got a house that feels damp at 74 degrees. So we start with the system you already own and how it's running before we talk about anything you'd have to buy.
- Filtration — what's in the filter slot now, how restrictive it is, and how often it realistically needs changing in your home
- Humidity — whether your system is running long enough to dehumidify, and what's driving the moisture
- Ductwork and vents — leaks, dust, crushed runs and returns that are starving the system
- Airflow room by room, because the stuffy bedroom is usually a duct problem, not an air problem
- Drain lines and the condensate side, where standing water and smells tend to start
Sometimes the fix is small and mechanical. Sometimes it's an indoor air quality hvac upgrade worth doing. We'll tell you which one you're looking at, and we'll tell you if the honest answer is that nothing needs replacing yet.
Hours, pricing and service area
We're open Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, and Saturday 8:00am to 1:00pm. Closed Sunday. Pricing depends on what your system needs, which is why we put it in writing first rather than quoting a number over the phone that we'd have to change once we're in the house.
Here's everywhere we work. If your town is on this list, we'll come out:
- Clermont, Montverde, Ferndale, Oakland, Winter Garden, Groveland, Mascotte
- Astatula, Howey In The Hills, Windermere, Ocoee, Gotha, Yalaha
- Orlando, Plymouth, Apopka, Zellwood, Tavares, Davenport, Center Hill
- Kissimmee, Okahumpka, Mount Dora, Leesburg, Polk City, Webster, Sumterville
- Altamonte Springs, Loughman, Intercession City, Eustis, Longwood
- The Villages, Maitland, Winter Park
A written estimate before anyone touches your system
Every job starts the same way: we look at the system, we explain what we found, and you get a written estimate before work starts. You decide from there. Nobody is going to start pulling equipment apart and hand you a surprise at the end of the day, and nobody is going to push a product on you because it was on the truck.
You get the estimate in writing before we begin. If you'd rather wait on the work, that's a perfectly fine answer.
That matters more with air quality work than almost anything else in this trade, because it's the corner of HVAC where it's easiest to sell someone equipment they didn't need. We'd rather keep the customer than win the invoice.
Read our reviews, then get in touch
If you want to know what it's like to have us in your house, we'd rather you hear it from our customers than from us. You'll find our reviews on Yelp, Angi, Facebook, Instagram and Nextdoor — have a read before you book anything.
When you're ready, reach Frank and Ruth at (689) 224-0820 or email certifiedairmastersllc@gmail.com. Tell us what the house is doing — the smell, the humidity, the one room that never feels right — and we'll set a time to come look at it.
