Certified Air Masters LLC is a family-run heating and cooling company owned by Frank and Ruthworking out of the Clermont area. Clermont is our home base, so when a system quits in Kings Ridge or out past Lake Minneola, we are not driving in from the other side of the state.
Two things make up most of our week. The first is HVAC repair — a unit that runs but doesn't cool, a system that trips the breaker, a thermostat that has stopped talking to the equipment, a blower that sounds wrong. The second is installation: replacing a system that has reached the end of its life, or putting cooling and heating into a home that needs it done properly the first time.
Either way, the first step is the same. We look at what you actually have, tell you what we found, and put a number in writing before we start.
Hours, pricing and the towns we cover
We work Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pmand Saturday 8:00am to 1:00pm. We are closed Sunday. If you reach us outside those hours, leave a message or email and we will pick it up when we open.
Pricing is quoted per job, in writing, after we have seen the system. We don't give a number over the phone for work we haven't looked at, because on a repair that number is usually wrong and nobody enjoys the conversation that follows.

A written estimate before anyone touches your system
Every job we take starts with a written estimate. You see the scope and the price on paper, and you decide from there. If you want to think about it, think about it. If you want a second opinion on a replacement quote, get one — a written estimate is easy to compare, which is exactly the point.
On a repair call, that means we diagnose first and price second. On a replacement, it means the equipment, the labor and what is included are written down before any old unit comes out of your yard. There is no stage in the process where you find out the cost after the fact.
Because Frank and Ruth run the company themselves, the person who quotes your job is accountable for how it turns out. That is the whole advantage of a small family business, and it is the reason we work this way.
