Certified Air Masters LLC is a family-run HVAC company owned and operated by Frank and Ruth, and Orlando is one of the cities we cover week in and week out. The work splits roughly two ways: fixing systems that have stopped doing their job, and putting in new ones when a repair no longer makes financial sense. Either way, the same people answer the phone, show up at the house, and stand behind the work afterward.
Most Orlando calls start the same way — the air coming out of the vents isn't cold anymore, the unit is running nonstop without catching up, or something outside is making a noise it has never made before. We come out, find the actual cause rather than guessing at it, and tell you plainly whether you're looking at a repair or a replacement. If it's a repair, we say so. We'd rather keep a working system running than sell you a new one you don't need yet.
When a system really is finished, HVAC installation is the other half of what we do. That means sizing the equipment for the house in front of us, not for an average house, and making sure the new unit is set up correctly from day one so you're not calling someone back out in six months.
Hours, pricing and service area
We're open Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pmand Saturday, 8:00am to 1:00pm. We're closed Sunday. If you reach us outside those hours, leave a message or send an email and we'll pick it up when we open.
On price: we don't publish a flat price list, because two Orlando houses with the same symptom can need very different work. What we do instead is look at the system, then put the cost in writing before anything gets started. No work begins until you've seen that number and said yes to it.
Orlando sits in the middle of the area we serve. We also work across Winter Park, Maitland, Altamonte Springs, Longwood, Ocoee, Apopka, Gotha, Windermere, Plymouth, Zellwood, Clermont, Winter Garden, Oakland, Montverde, Ferndale, Groveland, Mascotte, Astatula, Howey In The Hills, Yalaha, Okahumpka, Tavares, Mount Dora, Eustis, Leesburg, The Villages, Sumterville, Webster, Center Hill, Polk City, Davenport, Loughman, Intercession City and Kissimmee.
A written estimate in your hands before work starts
The part of the job that causes most of the friction in this trade is the money conversation, so we get it out of the way early and in writing. Here's the order it happens in:
- You book a visit and tell us what the system is doing.
- We come to the house during our open hours and diagnose the problem on site.
- You get a written estimate covering the work we're recommending, before we start.
- You decide. If you want to think about it, that's fine — the estimate is yours to keep.
You get a written estimate before we start work. That's the whole policy.
Reviews, email and booking
If you want to see what other customers have said before you call a stranger about your air conditioner, we have reviews on Yelp, Angi, Facebook, Instagram and Nextdoor. Read them there rather than taking our word for it here.
To get an Orlando visit on the calendar, email certifiedairmastersllc@gmail.com or call (689) 224-0820 during our open hours. Tell us the address, what the system is doing, and roughly how long it's been doing it — that's usually enough for us to come prepared on the first trip.
